The Assistant Director for Administrative Support and Subsidiaries manages the following four areas:
- The Small Engine Shop, which maintains and repairs gas, diesel, and electric vehicles, excavation equipment, tools, pumps, etc. for UFS and other campus customers.
- The Special Events Team, which sets up special event venues and coordinates with party rental contractors for large events.
- The Deferred Maintenance (DM) and Building Inspection program, which includes regular DM building inspections of all University buildings by staff and contractors, costing and prioritization of required deferred maintenance needs, and oversight of DM projects
- Administrative Assistants and Project Management Assistants within UFS.

Services with No Cost
- Coordinate with other professionals such as lighting specialists and party rental companies (tents, tables, chairs, etc.)
- Small quantity of tables and chairs available for loan to approved student groups.
- University departments may borrow select equipment for small events at no charge when they supply the vehicle and labor to pick up and return equipment.
